Anthony C. Gamst
Dr. Gamst is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics and Neurosciences at the University of California, San Diego. His research focuses on (semiparametric) regression, resampling and inference. He has worked on a variety of problems in image analysis, including: (multi-modal image) registration, segmentation, and texture and shape analysis. He has been actively involved in computer systems design and development since 1991 and has worked or consulted on several large (multi-site, multi-national) research projects, including: the Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study (ADCS), the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI), the Biomedical Informatics Research Network (BIRN), the CNS HIV Anti-Retroviral Therapy Effects Research (CHARTER) study, and the HIV Neurobehavioral Research Center (HNRC).
